FG Commences Payment Of  N25k Conditional Cash Transfer

Conditional Cash Transfer

The Federal Government has started distributing 25,000 Naira payments as a part of the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) program, which has caused surprise and raised concerns in Nigeria.

Previously, the CCT program had a well-defined application and registration process. However, recent reports suggest that recipients are now being selected randomly, regardless of their employment status. This includes government workers, corps members, Npower beneficiaries, and non-government workers.

This new approach has caused confusion among many recipients, as there is no official registration link provided.

Please be aware that any registration links you come across online should be considered fake. The federal government has confirmed that there is no ongoing registration taking place.

Furthermore, there have been instances of people pretending to be “enumerators” or individuals in charge of distributing the CCT (Conditional Cash Transfer), even though the government has made it clear that there will be no supervisors or superiors involved in the process.

Given the current economic challenges and the growing need for financial assistance, it is strongly advised that recipients exercise caution and avoid sharing their personal information with anyone claiming to be involved in the program. The desperate situation for financial support has created opportunities for dishonest individuals to take advantage of unsuspecting recipients.

Furthermore, this situation also calls for the community to reflect on its response to these developments. Despite repeated warnings, some individuals continue to fall prey to false information, highlighting the importance of being vigilant and aware.

The implementation of the 25k CCT payments by the FG has resulted in unexpected changes in the distribution process. Recipients are advised to remain cautious and alert, as authorities are working to address concerns and provide clear information about the program’s procedures and eligibility criteria.
